Below you can find a high-level overview of the steps needed to implement Rayn Air.

If you want to get started with Rayn Personas, click here.

Step 1: Set up a Rayn JS connection.

The first step when setting up Rayn will be to create a connection for data ingestion. For web implementations, Rayn provides Rayn JS, an out-of-the-box solution for a quick and easy setup. Rayn JS handles the ingestion of website content, user behavior measurement, and all data interactions on the page.

❕Consent is Needed to work with Rayn

To work with Rayn JS, you need TCF consent for Vendor 1220.

Step 2: Connect your services to Rayn Data.

Now that Rayn has been installed it's time to monetize the data. Connect Rayn data using one of the predefined integrations or ingest the data to use it for any application.

Step 3: Set Up Interactions (Optional)

Create Surveys

Surveys form the backbone of data ingestion from consumer interactions. You can use surveys to validate existing user cohorts, collect training data to create new cohorts or explore adjacent interests. When creating a survey you can choose between a single-input or multi-input survey. Define a question and up to five answer options in multiple languages. The styling, targeting, pacing, and triggering of the survey are handled in the next step: Distributions.

Set up a Survey Distribution

Distributions allow you to distribute a single survey across multiple channels. Depending on the distribution type it governs controls for styling, keys, targeting, frequency, pacing, and triggering of surveys.

Connect cohorts to Surveys

In Rayn, a cohort is a group of users who share a trait or set of traits. Rayn assigns users to one or multiple cohorts based on behavior across content categories. By connecting survey answer options to cohorts you can assign users to a cohort based on survey input.

Step 4: Activate your data using Personas.

Create your detailed buyer personas in Rayn or collaborate with Aurora Buyers via Nexus. The personas are evaluated in the data aggregation process and can be pushed into the bidstream for easy activation.
